Brigette ReDavid

Born in Chester, Pa, Brigette ReDavid is a second generation Italian-American. She is a writer, producer, director and former journalist. She started her writing career at the Philadelphia Inquirer and worked at several newspapers before becoming managing editor.
Brigette's love for the stage and screen took her to New York where she lived in the East Village while studying Dramatic Writing at Tisch NYU to earn her MFA. She cross-trained in theatre, TV and screenwriting.
Brigette's work has earned accolades from Sundance, the Academy Nicholl Fellowships, the Austin Film Festival and more.
She has sold feature screenplays, and written, directed, and produced award-winning short films and her plays have been staged in many states throughout the US, including NY.
In addition to launching Molly Productions, Brigette is also the executive director of the Off Page Film Festival in Philadelphia, an international group she began.
