Joshua Morgan(IX)

Joshua Morgan is a filmmaker, writer, director, editor, and actor from Tampa, Florida. He began acting at the age of eight at a local theater before developing an interest in filmmaking and working both in front of and behind the camera. Morgan went on to write and direct the dark comedy short Tapioca and the feature film Children of the Pines, both produced in association with Lucas A. Ferrara. Children of the Pines won the Audience Award at the 2024 Gasparilla International Film Festival and received worldwide VOD distribution. Morgan also wrote and directed the short film Blake Buried a Body, which streams on Alter. The short screened at the Gasparilla Film Festival, Sunscreen Film Festival, Central Florida Film Slam, and Timucua Arts Foundation, where it was accompanied by a live score performed by the Mudita Orchestra. He later developed Blake Buried a Body into his sophomore feature film.
