Anna Polyviou

Anna Polyviou is an incredibly dynamic and recognizable Australian pastry chef, author, television personality, and entrepreneur, widely known for her vibrant personality, punk-rock aesthetic, and highly elaborate, playful, and often gravity-defying dessert creations. She has truly transformed the perception of patisserie in Australia. Anna was born in Perth, Western Australia, to a Greek-Cypriot family. She began her pastry apprenticeship at the ripe age of 16 at the Burswood International Resort Casino (now Crown Perth). She then honed her skills in some of the world's most prestigious culinary institutions.
