- Ayisha Siddiqi is a multiple award-winning actress and emerging filmmaker.
A graduate of the Acting Academy of Maastricht, she won the Best Thesis and Lecture Performance award. She did several leads in theatre productions with Het Zuidelijk Toneel and Het Nationale Theater and received national and international screen acting awards.
Her credits include Koud (Best Actress 48hour national, 2015), Plons (Best Ensemble 48hour national, 2022), Tandem (Best Acting 48hour international, 2023, film was screened at filmfestival Cannes (short film corner), Honeycomb (Best Actress at Kinofilm Manchester International SFF, 2024), and Layla M., the Dutch Oscar submission.

She was selected for the Pupkin Film Masterclass under Willem Bosch and for the Rose Academy (now Qissa). Also wrote some scene's under the guidance of Jan Eilander.
Her debut short film 1 April marks a powerful new chapter as writer, director, producer, editor, and sound designer. Before its public release, she already got selected for Indie Short Film Fest. Nominated for 5 categories: Best short drama, best producer, Best original screenplay, best first time female director, best acting ensemble. She brought 2 awards home: First Time Female Director & Producers Achievement Award
Ray Blinker caught her talent (Tulsa Studio, Septimius Awards Lifetime Achievement Award), and now mentors her as she develops her next projects. Ayisha continues to grow as a filmmaker - determined to tell stories that connect emotion, identity, and hope, and to open doors for voices like hers to be heard.
