- Kabeer Khurana is a Mumbai-based multiple award-winning filmmaker. It's been his constant endeavour to create conceptual and socially relevant cinema that reflects our times, yet pushing cinematic boundaries with technology and visual language.
His films have received a Filmfare nomination as well as been screened in Croatia, Indonesia, Morocco, USA, Ukraine, Brazil, Singapore, Hong Kong, Poland, Amsterdam and more. Kabeer has directed veterans like Hardik Pandya, Jaaved Jaaferi, Dr Mohan Agashe, Amole Gupte, Suchitra Krishnamoorthi, Darsheel Safary, Shubman Gill, Suchitra Pillai, Jamie Lever, Viveck Vaswani, Kane Williamson and others, apart from assisting and being mentored by filmmakers Saeed Mirza, Zoya Akhtar and Gauri Shinde.
Kabeer's films have released on Amazon Prime US & UK, Disney+ Hotstar and MX Player. He has been featured on Al Jazeera, The Times UK, Homegrown, Femina, Vogue, Times of India, Hindustan Times, The Indian Express, NDTV, The Tribune, Scroll, Film Companion, Shoutout LA, Voyage LA, Bold Journey, Matrubhumi, The New Indian Express, Dainik Bhaskar and more. Kabeer has also been a TEDx speaker and has spoken at 50+ platforms.
He is also the founder of the Indie Film Circuit, a vast community of 3500+ independent filmmakers across India. At present, he is directing niche narrative work, as well as teaching filmmaking at Mumbai University. He has done his BA (Hons) in History from Ashoka University in Sonipat, and an MFA in Film Direction from Chapman University in Los Angeles where he was taught by Oscar-winner Asghar Farhadi, Hollywood veteran John Badham (known for Saturday Night Fever) and Martha Coolidge (ex-President of Directors' Guild of America).

- Kabeer is the grandson of Indian animation pioneer and 16-time President's National award winner, Bhimsain (known for Gharaonda, Doooriyan, Choti Badi Baaten and Ek Anek Ekta). He is the son of Kireet Khurana (Toonpur ka Superrhero, The Leftist Sufi) and Tehzeeb Khurana (animation director - Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic).
