Biography

Michael Gilbertie is an American independent producer, writer, actor, and director. He is most known for his viral paranormal documentaries like Incarnate (2023), which followed Tony Spera, son in law of demonologists Ed and Lorraine Warren of The Conjuring franchise, and keeper of the infamously haunted Annabelle doll. He is also known for his high concept short films like The Sundowner (2025) which tells the story of a greedy diver becoming the target of the undead after pillaging the remains of a shipwreck on the sea floor.

Gilbertie began his filmmaking journey at a young age by imitating many of his favorite movies in his backyard with his friends and a camera. Gradually, though, he would improve his craft and begin releasing films under the banner of Lexington Productions, so named after the road upon which his childhood home sat. Over the years, his work has garnered acclaim at festivals like the Nocturna Film Festival, Lonely Wolf International Film Festival, and has been seen by hundreds of thousands of people all over the planet.
