Biography

Chas Conacher is a Canadian actor, writer, producer, and filmmaker from Toronto working between Canada and the United States. As a filmmaker and producer, Chas has developed and produced narrative and documentary projects that have screened at major festivals including the Mill Valley Film Festival, Whistler Film Festival, Inside Out Film Festival, and Palm Springs International ShortFest. Their feature documentary The Legend in Me, which they produced, co-wrote, and appeared in, premiered at Mill Valley before its Canadian premiere at Whistler Film Festival. Chas is currently developing multiple original film and television projects, including the feature film Third Star and the comedy series Grandie. In July 2026, they will make their directorial debut with WOW MAMA, a short film produced by STX Entertainment and set to shoot in San Francisco.

As an actor, Chas most recently appeared in director Katie Holmes’ feature film Happy Hours, which recently premiered at the Tribeca Festival, and in director Courteney Cox’ upcoming feature Evil Genius alongside Patricia Arquette and David Harbour. A graduate of the University of Southern California, Chas brings a sharp comedic sensibility and emotionally grounded presence to their work across film, television, and theater.
