Scarlett Archer is a British actress, television presenter, and journalist who will soon appear as Penelope Clearwater in the upcoming television adaptation of Harry Potter. The role will bring the intelligent Ravenclaw prefect to a new generation of viewers and marks her latest step into one of the world’s most recognizable screen franchises. Before moving into major scripted television, she built an international career in broadcasting and journalism. As a reporter on FYI a news program for young people on Sky News and Sky Kids, she travelled extensively reporting on global affairs, interviewing prime ministers and covering major international stories, including the war in Ukraine following the Russian invasion of Ukraine. She is also known for her work in motorsport broadcasting as a presenter and commentator covering Formula One.
