Stian Skjelstad is a Norwegian producer and alumni from The Norwegian Film School.
He won the Norwegian Amanda award with his latest short film Mercy (2025) and is now qualified for The European Film Award 2027 - Best international short.
His feature debut A Human Position (2022) was part of the Bright Future program in Rotterdam IFF, the Zabaltegi-Tabakalera Program in San Sebastian IFF and New Directors program at the Chicago IFF. He is now the owner and producer for the Oslo-based production company Mindre film, focusing on both live action and animation.
