Harris was born in the small town of Lewiston, in the heart of Central Maine. He grew up working in broadcast radio, photography and the media. Harris has helmed 6 short films, A TV Pilot in Central America, and two feature films. He is the leader of Reel Z Productions, a private boutique production house operating out of LA, Phoenix and Cancun Mexico.

All of the films he has his name on are almost always filmed entirely using practical effects and real world locations.
