He studied Film and Television Production at the Escuela de Cine Pedro Almodóvar in Madrid, completing his studies while working at Garage Films. In 2012 he produced his first feature film, Errata, the debut work of Argentine director Iván Vescovo, and later went on to line produce two documentaries, Tras las fronteras (Madrid/Ceuta, 2014) and Sitio Distinto (Basque Country/Galicia, 2016).
Between 2012 and 2015 he worked with leading Madrid-based production companies such as Garage Films and Igloo Films, mainly focused on television commercials, where he built a strong background in production. Returning to the Basque Country, he continued to expand his career in fiction, line producing several short films including Ainhoa (2016), Amargo era el postre (2018), Regina (2019) and El perro (2020), alongside feature films such as Nora (2019), Érase una vez... Euskadi (2020, directed by Manu Gómez) and Maixabel (2021, directed by Icíar Bollaín).
From 2021 onwards, Facundo broadened his trajectory in international series, working on high-profile titles such as La Fortuna by Alejandro Amenábar and Intimidad by Jorge Torregrossa. In recent years, he has strengthened his profile as Line Producer on larger-scale projects. Over the last eighteen months, he has led the production of three series in collaboration with Izen and The Clapperboard: Catch You Later, Teacher 3 (pre-production) and Baby Doll, an international co-production between the UK, Ireland and Spain for Paramount+.
Now Facundo serves as Executive Producer at the La Plata Films, where he supervises oversees both its own projects and the international co-productions it is launching.
