Biography

Angelina Hakansson is a versatile actor and writer who first gained recognition for her portrayal of young Anni-Frid Lyngstad of ABBA fame in Ted - Show Me Love (2018), directed by Academy Award nominee Hannes Holm.

During her acting training in London, she also gained experience as a presenter and interviewer, hosting Angelina's Journey for eight years on TotalRock Radio, conducting personal, in-depth interviews with world-renowned artists - from Ozzy Osbourne to Muse. She also wrote and presented special features, including exclusive interviews for MTV and EMI, further sharpening her instincts as a performer and storyteller.

On screen, Angelina is known for her role as the enigmatic detective Petra in Cryptid (2020), which was nominated at Cannes for Best Short-Form Series. She also stars as Maria in The Unwanted Guest, a performance that earned her Best Actress awards at film festivals in London, Paris, and New York (2022). She has appeared in several acclaimed European television series, including Josephine Bornebusch's award-winning Älska Mig (Love Me).
