Ekkawat 'Pond' Sankhavesa is a Thai filmmaker and Assistant Director working across feature films, television series, and international productions. Having begun his career in the film industry at a young age, he has contributed to projects for Disney, Netflix, Apple TV+, and major Hollywood studios, collaborating with acclaimed directors including Peter Farrelly, Marc Forster, Luc Besson, Nicolas Winding Refn, Mark Waters and Noah Hawley.
Alongside his work as an Assistant Director, Pond writes and directs his own films, with a focus on intimate human stories, cultural identity, and psychological themes. His short films have been screened internationally.
