Leandro -Lioh- Navarro (1990) studied at the National Film School in Caracas with a full scholarship from the Cinematography Center, standing out as the best average in his class. He completed diplomas at the same study house in production, art and script writing.
With his thesis short film - Sueles dejarme - he was the winner of the FENAVID in Bolivia 2017, selected at the Filmshoolfest Munich and at the festival of new Latin American cinema in Cuba; He completed his short documentary -El Camino- which stands out for being spoken in an indigenous language; He was production coordinator and co-director of the choral feature film -Un País Imaginario- produced by Rober Calzadilla, a prominent Venezuelan director. He is producing his debut feature -Esto es Texas-, selected in the course Essential elements of writing - from Sundance Colab from the Sundance Institute, has the support of Film Austeres, a Venezuelan company that operates in Spain with Juan Carlos Lossada, former president of the Venezuelan cinematography center. He has worked in various cinematographic, cultural and advertising audiovisual projects as assistant director, post-production producer, general producer, editor and director. He is the founder of several cultural initiatives related to cinema in Caracas, Venezuela. He works as a producer and post-production producer at the National Film School. He carried out the workshop -The most difficult film-, taught by Rober Calzadilla and Gustavo Rondón, the latter selected in Cannes with his debut film and selection Cannes L'atelier 2021. He recently completed the diploma in Arts Appreciation certified by the main university in the country and the Diploma in Contemporary Art at Metropolitan University of Caracas, in both cases as a scholarship for academic and professional merits. It was selected in the Workshop -News from Nowhere- of the Festival -Caracas Doc- and is in development of a short film titled -The story of fire- He begins tours at festivals with his short film "Salvador, you are leaving me", selected in the Festival -A Corto Plazo- that qualifies for the -Rencontres Cinémas d'Amérique Latine de Toulouse-
