The father of the "Kagan" horror sub-genre, Ty Mellor is an award winning film-maker that has been working in the Canadian Media industry since he was 14 years old. Ty’s past working in graphic design and digital effects has had strong lasting impacts on his filmmaking. This has resulted in his strange lighting style based on the Pulp Horror Comic he read as a child. Running the film label "Tales To Horrify" Under the MacWood company, Ty has continued to explore the full possibilities of visual storytelling. Ty’s focus on fear-based horror with nice and kind characters has been stained with his strong Canadian roots, which resulted in the "Kagan" style of horror.
