Tanya Chekhova is a documentary filmmaker, Director and Producer. Her style can be recognized from its rawness and authenticity by effortlessly capturing the real voice of the people.
Being of Russian origin and having produced most of her documentary projects there before the Ukraine war, she left Russia before the war started with no intention to return. She is currently based in Berlin.
