- Joseph Anthony Marcello is a young emerging filmmaker from Massachusetts who lives with Type-1 Diabetes.
He aims to share his passion and awareness of the disease in the industry along with promoting a healthy creative lifestyle. With an MS in Film, he has written and directed numerous short film projects that have led to the Hollywood stage earning both prestigious awards and screenings out in the industry's capital. On top of this, he works on feature film sets as an editor helping talented directors achieve their vision.
On the side, he trains for high-altitude mountaineering across the country and globe while coping with Type-1 Diabetes. He loves spending miles on trails in the middle of nowhere and hopes one day to learn the skills of venturing to acclaimed peaks.
