Sylvain Ott

Born in 1974, my passion for music started at school when we decided with some of my friends to start a band. I realized that music was my life and took my first guitar lessons. Then I joined the CIM to learn jazz guitar and heard of an arrangement class with Denis Bioteau. I switched to it and took additional classical education at the Schola Cantorum and Conservatoire. I played in various bands and directed some, then I've been offered an internship in a recording studio. There, I learned the basics of sound engineering and started to produce songs. Over the years, I had the opportunity to work in famous studios as Mega, Metropolis, Guillaume Tell, Davout. I travelled the world from Prague to Miami and played or recorded in beautiful places. Now I'm a composer at BMG Production Music in France with a catalog of 20 albums since 2014. I also composed music for short movies and documentaries.
