Parmida Vand is an actress, musician, and writer known for The Persian Version (2023), Taken (2018), and Sauble (2022). She was born on the island of Qeshm in Iran and immigrated to Canada at the age of 7. As a musician, Parmida performs under the moniker Päter and has released two EPs, "SOLE" and "WHEREFORE WEEP I THEN?".
