'Billy Robinson (XII)' aka William Robinson is not the same actor as W.C. Robinson aka Spike Robinson aka Walter C. Robinson, with whom he is sometimes confused in modern sources. Billy was a stage comedian who made a few films for Essanay in Chicago; Spike was an ex-pugilist who turned to acting when he was hired by D.W. Griffith at Biograph.
