Biography

Kali Russell has been a professional actress and performer for over fifteen years. Based in New Orleans, Kali went to the New Orleans Center for Creative Arts (NOCCA) for Musical Theatre, trained at New York University: Tisch School of the Arts and Loyola University New Orleans, worked professionally on stage as an actor and choreographer for over a decade, and has started working professionally in film as well. She won the Big Easy Award for "Best Actress in a Musical" for her portrayal of the famous role of "Sally Bowles" in Cabaret (2020), and she has also won "Best Actress" for her lead role in her first feature film, Sister Tempest (2020).
