Francesco Catarinolo

Francesco Catarinolo is a director can boast a long experience in the audiovisual sector, in different fields that have allowed him to exercise different languages and to refine his talents as a narrator over time. After graduating from Dams, his work experience began in an advertising agency. He is more comfortable there, working as an operator, editor and director. There are several companies and television stations with which it collaborates, such as Sky. In 2012, He became a video reporter for the newspaper: La Repubblica. He collaborated with Riccardo Staglianò on the realization of the documentaries: Terza Repubblica and Futuro Interrotto. The turning point will then take place with the foundation in 2013 of Studio Pandora, a production company specialized in the creation of animated content, that has became an important reality on the Turin scene. Francesco begins his career as a producer, with the Studio Pandora, he became a member of Cartoon Italia, the National Association of Animation Producers. Francesco is a multipurpose director, who has developed different skills, he has been involved in directing numerous commercials for many international brands as: Fonzies, Tic Tac, Oreo, Decathlon, Petronas, Lotus, Ferrero, Allianz, New Holland, etc. Being able to often vary register and style: comic, emotional, epic and dramatic. Also in 2021 he has shot the documentary: La Casa Rossa, filmed in Greenland, an Italian/German production was co-produced by broadcasters: ARTE, NDR, RTS, AL JAZEERA INTERNATIONAL, that has been selected and won awards in numerous international film festivals.
