L'Metrius Long(I)

L’Metrius Long is a versatile actor, dancer, and storyteller whose work spans award-winning film, television, and live performance. He gained recognition for his breakout role as Pirate in Ice Cold Ricky, helping the film earn Best Ensemble Cast at the Indie Short Festival and Best Narrative Short at the Los Angeles Underground Film Festival. His dynamic screen work includes emotionally complex and comedic performances in Union Ave, Beatrix Is Dead, which won the Audience Award for Best Live Action Short at the 2025 Palm Springs International Film Festival, The Best Man, and the upcoming horror-comedy Cover Girls. A trained dancer, L’Metrius has performed with Run the Jewels, The Black Eyed Peas on The Oprah Winfrey Show, and alongside Lupe Fiasco at a Chicago Fire halftime performance, while also appearing in West Side Story. A graduate of the American Musical and Dramatic Academy and former student of Columbia College Chicago, he continues to study with leading coaches including Lesly Kahn, Aleks Ristic, and The Groundlings. Grounded in a lifelong commitment to service and community, L’Metrius combines emotional authenticity, sharp comedic instincts, and a commanding physical presence to create memorable, deeply human performances.
