- Born in East Tennessee, Brett Taylor became a published writer while still in high school, at the age of seventeen. He quickly established himself as a poet and photographer for literary journals. He went on to become a prolific reviewer of books and movies. He has since gone on to write several books. He gets a kick out of doing bit parts and extra work, which he says is easier than writing.

- Brett Taylor was the still photographer on Brood X Magiciada, which was to be the directing debut of Fran Strine. Only a short trailer was produced. Taylor was also to play a large part as a park ranger. Eugene Welgemoed, the late brother of Seether frontman Shaun Morgan, played a brief scene as a crazed killer.
