Biography

Lise Deharme was born on May 5, 1898 in Paris, France. She was a director, known for Alouette du parloir (1953) and Le bonheur d'être aimé (1962). She died on January 19, 1980 in Neuilly-sur-Seine, France.

Close friend of André Breton, Man Ray, Paul Eluard, Louis Aragon, and other members of the surrealist movement.

She was a poet, and a novelist.
