Biography

Graduated in Audiovisual Sciences, Fábio started his career as cameraman at Sports Division in Globo TV - Brazil. In 2013 was promoted as cinematography executive. He filmed and also directed important sports series and documentaries. He was one of the cinematographers (seasons 1 and 2) of "Extreme Planet" series, an International Emmy nominee in 2012. In 2017, he was the DOP and scene director of the show "Ippon- A Luta da Vida", the first judo reality show of Brazilian Television. So then, In 2019, finally moved his career to director in Estúdios Globo, the entertainment division of Globo TV.

He made his film debut in 2012, when he co-wrote and co-directed the short film, "Nós" (only finalized in 2018 and released in 2019), starting there an independent filmmaker career, that gained momentum in 2017 and 2018, with his second short film, "Fim", which was presented in 16 festivals in 11 different countries, winning three awards. In 2019, besides the premiere of "Nós", he brings his third and biggest short project called "Delphine". An horror and dramatic tale that has in an immortal love its greatest plot. His scripts have as main feature stories with strong human feelings that challenge the audience to perceive truths in the smallest details or even hided behind them.
