Biography

Omid Pakbin is a writer, director and filmmaker based in Salt Spring Island, British Columbia. After 10+ years of doing visual effects, motion graphics, editing, cinematography and audio mixing work, Omid got into writing and directing his own films in 2022. After the production of 3 successful shorts, he is shooting his first feature film in the fall of 2025, wearing multiple hats: Writer, Director, DP, Editor, VFX, etc.
