Pauline Cockett(1933-2016)

She was a famous Hawaiian hula dancer. She was featured on the covers of many records, such as Capitol Records. She was also the cover girl of My Waikiki Girl and many more, which went uncredited, unlike Tani Marsh from Maui. She played with an ukulele player, Panama, and was the leading dancer for Alfred Apaka at the Henry J. Kaiser hotel, now the Hilton. Pauline Margaret Isaacs-Lean, 83, of Mililani died in Waipahu. She was born in Honolulu. She is survived by son Alvin and brother Benjamin Cockett Jr. Private services.
