Jose Hernandez (also known as Jose Manuel Hernandez) was born in Santa Rosa, Guatemala. His family immigrated to the United States when Jose was seven-years old. At age 15, Jose made his debut at Illusion Theater in Minneapolis. Immediately after his debut, he signed with two talent agencies in the Twin Cities entertainment industry. In 2014, Jose took a break from acting to move to New York to focus on personal growth.
Jose made his return to the entertainment industry in the Twin Cities during the summer of 2018. He has acted in in award winning short and feature films and in numerous commercials. In 2021, Jose in pursuit of more film and TV opportunities relocated to Atlanta, GA. Jose continues to train with various acting coaches from the Minneapolis, Atlanta, and Los Angeles area. He has a very special love for stage acting, performing for professional and community theater productions, including Oklahoma!, Fiddler on The Roof, Zafira: The Olive Oil Warrior, and many others.
