Ornella Gunesekere is a well-known Sri Lankan beauty queen, actress, and model. She gained significant recognition after being crowned Miss Universe Sri Lanka in 2018. Although she did not place in the Miss Universe pageant that year, she won the Miss Congeniality award, becoming the first Sri Lankan to receive this honor. She attended Holy Family Convent, Bambalapitiya, and later moved to Lyceum International, Nugegoda. She holds a diploma in tourism and hospitality. In addition to her beauty pageant achievements, she has appeared as a non-speaking supporting artist in the popular Netflix series "Bridgerton".
