Biography

Xavier Byers is a Production Finance Executive of Original Films at Netflix, where he partners with creatives and executives to bring impactful stories to life. A graduate of Morehouse College, he began his career at Turner Broadcasting supporting CNN, Cartoon Network, and Adult Swim, before continuing his work in Los Angeles with Warner Bros.

Xavier is recognized for his leadership at the intersection of finance, storytelling, and culture. He has led Diversity & Inclusion initiatives and continues to serve on Netflix’s Studio Finance Diversity & Inclusion Council.

He was part of the award-winning team behind The Ebony Canal, a documentary narrated by Viola Davis that highlights maternal health disparities affecting Black women and families, earning multiple Webby Awards, Daytime Emmys, and an NAACP Image Award.

A member of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, Xavier is committed to empowering creatives and advancing stories that move the culture forward.
