- P.V. Sindhu was born on July 5, 1995 in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, India. She is an actress, known for B Praak: Mauka Hai (2021), Birmingham 2022: XXII Commonwealth Games (2022) and BWF World Championships (1977).
- At Rio Olympics 2016, Sindhu became the first Indian woman to win an Olympic silver medal, and one of the two Indian badminton players to ever win an Olympic medal - other being Saina Nehwal.
- Sindhu won Gold medal at 2019 BWF World Championships. She was also silver medalist at the 2017 BWF World Championships and 2018 BWF World Championships consecutively.
- Sindhu won Bronze, Silver and Gold in Women's singles at 2014, 2018 and 2022 Commonwealth Games respectively.
- At Tokyo Olympics 2020, Sindhu won Bronze medal and became the second individual athlete from India to win two consecutive medals at the Olympic Games.
