Nicole Wegner, born in the former GDR, started out as a trailer producer and worked for MTV, Nickelodeon, and Comedy Central. Wegner graduated from the Academy of Media Arts in Cologne with her award-winning feature-music documentary "Parallel Planes". She is involved in various cultural projects and venues as a curator and cultural activist and works as a director, producer, and editor in Cologne.
