Biography

Louisa Melcher is known for Green Room.

Louisa earned a B.A. from Columbia University in Theater, with a concentration in play writing and has won multiple awards for her original plays.

She co-wrote the 126th Varsity Show at Columbia University, a student produced full length musical. Varsity Show Alumni include Kate McKinnon, Greta Gerwig, LA Mayor Eric Garcetti and composers Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein.

She is an accomplished ballet dancer who performed with the Kirov Ballet, American Ballet Theater and The Joffrey as a child.

The actor Lincoln Melcher is her younger brother. The TV Writer/Producer Steve Melcher is her father.

In September 2020, she released her first single, the TikTok sensation "New York Summer.".
