Edoardo Ulivelli (Florence, 1994) is a writer-director whose work explores fractures rooted in emotional disconnect. He began making short films at an early age, alongside theatre work, and received international recognition for his photography. After graduating from DAMS in Bologna, he earned a Master's in Filmmaking from the London Film School. His graduation short, Lo Sguardo, a film that delves into desire and fragile masculinity through a blend of drama and the grotesque, was selected at BAFTA and Oscar-qualifying festivals such as Aesthetica and In The Palace, and featured on Directors Notes. Back in Italy, he collaborated with Eclettica and T-Rex to create Rando, a hybrid short combining anime and live action, exploring the fear of loss through the eyes of a child.
