Charles Saint-Michel has been a musician at heart since his early youth.
After an early musical awakening at the age of 3, during which he was fascinated by the family stereo system, Charles started to learn the guitar at the age of 10.
During his teenage years, he created or joined various rock, metal and pop rock music projects as a guitarist or drummer. It is around the 2010s that he starts to be interested in electronic and computer assisted music. Soon, Charles became interested in music production, enrolled in a film music production program at UQAM and invested in projects as a producer/mixer.
Since 2017, Charles has worked on a variety of projects that you can hear under the Music Portfolio and Audiovisual Portfolio tabs. Over time, he has acquired specialized equipment that allows him to work in a versatile manner that will satisfy all kinds of projects, regardless of their aesthetic nature. As a music mixer, he enjoys rock and pop music as much as electronic dance music, ambient music and underground electronics. As an audio-visual mixer, he enjoys both auteur cinema and big budget productions.
