Mohammed Yousuf(I)

Mohammed Yousuf (also known as Gene Clash), an Emirati/ British actor, music producer, rapper, and songwriter, was born Mohammed YM Darwish on September 17, 1981 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates to Heather Mason, a teacher, and Yousuf Mohammed, an army officer. He was raised in Dubai, where he developed a love for Motown, funk, and soul music at an early age after being introduced to his father's extensive record collection. After completing school, he opted to attend college in the United States and the United Kingdom. While still attending school, his passion for music and film continued to grow, as he explored all genres. By early 2000, he had started producing. Today, he is a graduate with a MBA and also holds a master's in creative media industries.
