Cassandra (Cassie) Thornton is an executive producer and media executive known for the global Netflix hits Get Gotti, Trainwreck: Woodstock '99, and The American Meme. Thornton most recently led the Intellectual Property Partnerships group at Bloomberg Media, a division she founded to adapt Bloomberg's world-class journalism into premium film and television projects. Before that, Thornton was at Raw TV (makers of programs like Tinder Swindler and Don't F*ck with Cats). She specializes in transforming real-world stories into cinematic, globally resonant documentaries and scripted feature films. Based in New York, Thornton continues to develop and produce premium nonfiction projects for leading studios and streamers.
