Jean-Francois Sobiecki

Jean Francois Sobiecki, B.Sc. Hons. EthnoBot. (UJ), Dipl Clin Nutr. (Aus), is a South African ethnobotanist, nutritionist and research associate with the University of Johannesburg & founder of the Khanyisa Healing Gardens project to study African psychoactive plant use. Jean-Francois is a trained traditional South African herbalist (Inyanga), with a private holistic healing practice in Johannesburg. He has a passion to share knowledge of healing plants, and his vision is to bridge and bring together many different cultures and healers from around the world for healing. Jean has initiated the Khanyisa Healing Garden Project in order to help accomplish this vision that will serve as a platform to learn about African and global medicinal plants and traditional healing methods.
