Supriya was born in Badodara, Gujarat. Her father is a businessman, and her mother is a fashion designer. She completed her studies in Gujarat, Mumbai, and Odisha. She studied journalism and filmmaking at Lovely Professional University, Punjab. While studying, she got the second runner-up in Odisha, and also in that same year, she got the Odisha Style Icon Award
