- Kitt Wakeley is a composer, songwriter, musician, music producer, orchestrator, and arranger. He has worked with artists Aaron Lazar, Josh Groban, Sting, and Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, among others. He has won 2 Grammy Awards; the first for "Best Classical Compendium" for "An Adoption Story" in 2023 and the second for "Best Global Music Album" for "Alkebulan II" in 2025. Wakeley was also nominated for a Grammy Award for "Best Classical Compendium" for "Mythologies II" in 2022 as well as producing Aaron Lazar's album "Impossible Dream" which was nominated for a Grammy for "Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album" in 2024. In 2025, he was included in Spin magazine's "10 Rising Artists to Watch."
His sold out orchestral concert at Carnegie Hall in 2021, was a sign of things to come for his newly released album, "Symphony of Sinners & Saints" (featuring Joe Satriani and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra), with its first three singles charting at number #1 on Billboard's Rock Charts and the album itself hitting #1 on Billboard's "Crossover Classical" and "Classical" charts.
He has won numerous awards for his work including several HMMA's ( Hollywood Music in Media Awards), Josie Music Awards, and eight Indie Music Awards. In 2021, he was inducted into the Indie Music Hall of Fame.
