- On June 10, 2016, for unknown reasons, he shot and killed singer/actress Christina Grimmie during a meet and greet event following a concert she wrapped up in Orlando, Florida. After being tackled on the ground by Grimmie's brother, Marcus, using the same gun in Christina's murder, he committed suicide via self-inflicted gunshot.
