Julien Debaker was born in Longwood, Florida, but spent most of his life in France, splitting time between Paris and Nancy, a small town in eastern France. He began his acting career at the age of 7, performing in various plays, YouTube videos, and skits, projects he would write, edit, and film himself with the help of his friends and family. Over the years, he appeared in a few small TV shows, films, short films, and theater productions. At 17, Julien left high school to pursue acting full-time and moved to Paris, where he lived for three years. At 20, seeking to further his career in film, he moved to New York City with just a backpack and a few dollars.
As of now, Julien has been producing, writing, directing, and acting in various films. He recently founded his own film company, Startling Pictures, and is already developing multiple projects, including Superfly, The Art of Suicide, and more. Julien works closely with director Bilal Hefner, with whom he shares a strong creative partnership. Together, they have collaborated on multiple films, and now developing both feature films and shorts, with Bilal directing and Julien serving as a co-writer and actor.
