Gil Abramov is a Berlin-based multidisciplinary musician, composer, and creative entrepreneur whose work bridges theatre, film, music, and performance art. Trained in music production and sound engineering, he began his path as a guitarist, singer, and touring artist, performing and recording with numerous groups before expanding into composition and sound design.
Abramov has created original music and sound worlds for film and theatre productions across Germany, with works presented at venues such as Theater Bremen, Kampnagel Theater, Thalia Theater, Schauspiel Frankfurt, Theaterhaus Jena, Volksbühne, and Theater und Orchester Heidelberg. His film work includes music for short films by independent directors and collaborators, as well as on-screen performances, including appearing in the art film EWA by Gigi Ben Artzi.
Alongside his work for stage and screen, he is one half of the duo Rudolf Abramov and releases under his solo alias Yehuda Kornfeld. He is the founder of Aquasonic Records, an independent label for cross-disciplinary sound, and co-founder of Solarium Studios, a Berlin-based platform for artistic collaboration and production.
Abramov's practice reflects a deep devotion to sound - a dialogue between instinct and craft, the personal and the collective.
