John Wilcox(XXIII)

Actor. John was born in Pasadena, CA, and grew up in Los Angeles and San Diego. The acting bug first nibbled at the age of seven with two productions at the Pasadena Civic. Flash forward forty-five years -- after following other career paths that took him to New York, Hong Kong and all over the world -- when he realized the only thing he truly wanted to do is be an actor. Diving hard into studying and training, an early co-star role opposite Mira Sorvino happened fast and he's been loving the journey ever since. Other highlights include: "If You Should Leave Before Me" written and directed by Marcus and Robert Anderson; "No Man of God" with Elijah Wood and Luke Kirby and directed by Amber Sealey; "The Unexpected" directed by Remi Adeleke; and all of the independent short and feature films, especially those that raise awareness about equality of all types, human rights, mental health and recovery. He is a member of BGB Studios with Shane Connor, the Rehearsal Room acting studio with Carey Scott, and has also studied with Amy Lyndon, Geoff Kennedy, Chris Game, Killian McHugh and Finest City Improv.
