Rajesh Dhawale(I)

Rajesh Dhawale is a filmmaker from, Mumbai, Maharashtra whose creative journey began at fourteen when he started publishing poems and articles in regional newspapers. After completing a diploma in Civil Engineering, he entered the film industry as a screenplay writer at nineteen, developing a strong command of narrative structure and the psychological impact of visual storytelling. Rajesh has written several short and feature film screenplays before moving into direction to shape his own cinematic voice. His directorial debut short film Pith(2018) Beyond the Time (2020) Choukat (2025) Gandha ( 2024) screened at multiple film festivals and won awards. His next debut Marathi feature film Goshta Suru Hote (2026) and Ek Kilo Mutton (2026). His work is known for its subtle narratives, emotional depth, and poetic visual style.
