Emily Ono "Emi" Helfrich is a production assistant, musician, singer, filmmaker, writer, director, editor and producer based in New York City.

She is the daughter of Jim and Kyoko Ono Cox Helfrich, and granddaughter of Japanese artist Yoko Ono. Emi has a younger brother, musician Jack Helfrich.

Emi enrolled at the Regis Jesuit High School in Colorado, and graduated from New York University with a major in East Asian Visual Media and a minor in Japanese language in 2019. Emi then studied Japanese in Tokyo from 2019 and 2020 before coming back to the United States of America.
