Charles r pearce is the Executive Director of Pillar Arts, and founder of the Bloomington Motion Artists Group (BMAG) - a monthly social for media creatives inspired by similar in Chicago and Austin.
He has been an independent creative director and content creator for brands, bands, and foods since 2010. Having worked his way up from a Production Assistant in Chicago, Illinois to running a boutique Production & Post Production Agency in Austin, Texas.
charles is also an award-winning digital artist, animation producer, camera enthusiast, and a 'sometimes' events producer/coordinator. Also a 2010 graduate from Indiana University's Media School (formerly School of Telecommunications), former NCCC AmeriCorps service volunteer, and Eagle Scout.
In current roles & responsibilities charles is passing these experiences and lessons on to the next generation of creative entrepreneurs, artists, designers, and innovative storytellers with the hopes of fostering a more resilient and diverse creative ecosystem in his home state of Indiana while bringing to life creative projects that focus on media responsibility and place-making.
