Biography

Léonie Hurtubise completed her bachelor's degree in Cultural and Media Production Strategies in the Faculty of Communications at UQÀM in 2017. She then worked as a coordinator at Colonelle Films before becoming a producer of short films in 2021. She has produced dozens of projects selected for major festivals, including Gender Reveal (Locarno & TIFF, 2024) and À mort le bikini! (2023), nominated for Best Short Film at the Canadian Screen Awards (2024). She is currently working on the development of her first feature film.
