Katia Koziara

Katia Koziara is a Los Angeles-based filmmaker and creative development professional. She is the writer-director of multiple award-winning short films and music videos including "The Bracket Theory" starring Meghann Fahy (The White Lotus) and "The Artist Apartment" which have garnered festival recognition and audience awards nationwide. Katia's storytelling centers on compelling character-driven narratives that weave complex themes-inherited trauma, queer identity, artistic ambition, and familial obligation-into thought-provoking, relatable stories. Her work consistently features strong roles for women across age ranges, with particular insight into millennial perspectives on traditional institutions. Katia’s early career included assisting directors on network stalwarts "Blue Bloods" and "Instinct" before moving into premium streaming content-including Emmy-winning "Severance" and "Hello Tomorrow" at Apple TV+. Her most recent credit is supporting Jonathan Entwistle on "Karate Kid: Legends" at Sony / Columbia Pictures.
